I love this moment. It’s always been ‘Fred and George’ from the very start, but I feel that this is a ‘George and Fred’ moment. It seems as though it’s always Fred leading George, and people seem to think of Fred as the stronger and funnier out of the two, and George just follows his lead. But this moment shows George being the stronger one. Fred is crying and George is making a valiant attempt to be brave for Fred, even though George is probably scared shitless too, and all because he can see Fred is having a hard time holding it together. It seems as though they have swapped roles and it’s George’s turn to be the leader, and to stop Fred from falling apart.
